The retreat complex is constructed from local Fraser Island timbers and provides guests with indoor/outdoor dining options and a comprehensive convenience store for all your every day needs.

Fraser Island is famous for its natural beauty, endless beaches and untamed wilderness. Discover for yourself, the many freshwater lakes, lush rainforests, wild dingoes and brumbies while traversing the many inland tracks and surf beaches. Transfers are available by air with Air Fraser Island or by land with Fraser Island Top Tours (ex Hervey Bay daily).

Once at the Retreat, short Eco - Tours or 4WD Hire can be arranged. Fraser Island offers a diverse range of natural attractions which has justified it's World Heritage Listing. Just 15 minutes by 4WD from The Retreat, and you could be swimming in the pristine waters of Eli Creek. Another 5 minutes further on, inspect the rusting hull of the Maheno Shipwreck which was washed ashore in 1935, or marvel at the spectacular send formations of The Pinnacles and Cathedrals.
